These days, my mood was bad because I kept thinking about leaving this country, this institute, this company, and these people here.
I went to work as usual. The Chinese New Year was coming close, and the tradition of Chinese in Malaysia is to eat tangerines in CNY.

Mr. Faruizi asked me to design posters for the Fusal Tournament 2019 between companies in Kulim Hitech Park. I asked my friend Up to help me with that. Here is one of the posters that we made.

Those days were the last days of us, so all of us didn’t really work that much. They might be let us enjoy the few last days at HOYA.
On 24Jan, my HR department celebrated a farewell party for me. I was so thankful that I worked in the department that has these people are so hospitable and friendly.
Mr. Fairuzi took me to the Pizza Hut store that they had reserved a table. They ordered a lot of food and told me that you don’t need to diet today, it’s a cheat day hahaha.
And then we did a sharing session about how I feel when I worked at HOYA. I didn’t know how much thank you I have to say is enough for
their sincere and enthusiastic help for me.

They also gave me a little souvenir gift, it’s so niceee. Some more photos about that night.
On the last day at HOYA, they gave us the certificate for working as an intern at HOYA.

That’s all about our work. Every day after work, we came back to our institute and tried our best to enjoy and save the moments that we’re still here. We kept walking around, we kept hanging around the prayer hall, we kept these memories that we had with each other.
My Malaysia friends cried when we said that we’re about to leave this place. I don’t know how about the others, but for me, I actually felt bad on the last day. I made a short video which is made from the memories that we had with each other as a farewell gift of us to say how thankful we are since we have friends like them.
After I sent them the video, they also made a video clip for us hahaha. The ending of their video made me feel depressed.
They gifted me a shirt, a letter that they wrote for us while they were crying. I will keep these things for the rest of my life definitely.

They told us to wear those shirts on the day we left, and we did.

My last word: Thanks to SEAMEO for holding an amazing program for students to have a chance to experience a new culture, new working environment, as well as make a lot of friends and have many meaningful memories.
